Many Moons

So many moons, so many opportunities! The centerpiece of this painting shows the waxing, full and waning periods of the moon. These are symbolic of the goddess as maiden, mother and crone. The three together are a common symbol for Wicca and witchcraft in general. The waxing moon provides help in making things grow. The full moon is when she is at her maximum power. When the moon wanes is a good time for inner work and also to diminish unwanted aspects of your life. This painting was done in acrylics.
